Symptoms
The main symptoms of a bucket handle meniscus tear include discomfort and pain. In most cases, the sensation might be generalized along each edge of the knee joint or generalized to this part. A locked knee joint is also common. This happens when the joints cannot straighten fully after it is bent. Some other symptoms include swelling, tightness, and stiffness. The condition also usually follows an anterior cruciate ligament or ACL tear. Both issues require medical treatments to recover fully and restore knee mobility. [2]
