What Is Inflammatory Arthritis?

Inflammatory arthritis is a form of arthritis that would involve multiple joints at the same time. It is often caused by a malfunctioning or overactive immune system. Most people with this type often have stiffness and pain after a period of inactivity or rest, especially in the morning. In addition to the joints, many other parts of the body can also be affected, including internal organs and skin. People of all ages can be at risk, but most cases occur in people during their prime of life.[1]
