What is a Knee Fracture?
A knee fracture is one of the most common knee injuries. It typically involves the patella, one of the three bones make up the kneecap or the front of the knee. Depending on the cause, the fracture could be as mild as a partial, small crack inside the bone or as series as a total break from the kneecap’s top to the bottom. Due to the role of the knee in movement and stability, people with a knee fracture might experience many problems with physical activities. [1]
