A List of Non-Cruciferous Vegetables

Cilantro

Cilantro is a versatile veggie that is very popular in many Asian, Indian, and Mexican dishes. It is mostly used fresh to bring a unique flavor. Fresh cilantro might taste a bit peppery, lemony, bright, and pungent. Not everyone likes this herb. Dry or cooked versions might help reduce this flavor. To use cilantro, make sure to wash it before cooking to remove grit and dirt. Next, remove the stems and leaves. You can tear or chop the leaves to the size you want and add them as a top dressing. Ground cilantro can also be added to a sauce or pesto to boost the flavor. [3]
