The 10 Most Common Food Allergies

Milk Allergies

Young children and babies are often allergic to cow’s mild, particularly when they were exposed to these products before 6 months old. Nevertheless, most of them will outgrow the condition, making it a less common issue in adults. There are two forms of milk allergy: non-IgE and IgE. The latter is more common and serious. People with an IgE allergy often react within 5 to 30 minutes of drinking milk. Common symptoms include vomiting, hives, rashes, and swelling. The only treatment is to exclude milk and similar products from the diet. These include milk, milk powder, butter, cheese, yogurt, margarine, or cream.[2]
