2Lean Meats
Lean meats mostly consist of protein, which can be digested easily. In addition, it is not fermented by bacteria in the gut, thus preventing unwanted intestinal gas. That is why people with IBS diarrhea would consume this food without worsening their symptoms. You would eat the following lean meats with confidence: turkey, chicken, and lean cuts of pork or beef like bottom round, eye round, top round, and sirloin. Keep in mind that fatty cuts might contain unhealthy toxins or pro-inflammatory fats. Thus, avoid eating dark meat turkey or chicken, and beef cuts that are marbled. Free-range poultry, pasture-raised port, and grass-fed beef can be exceptions. [2]
