Cinnamon Tea
Cinnamon tea has properties similar to peppermint tea, and works almost the same way too. It is incredibly effective for alleviating menstrual pains, by damping the spasms around the uterine walls. Its antispasmodic effect, coupled with its anti-inflammatory activity makes it a good choice for relieving pains during cramps. Cinnamon also works for nausea and abdominal troubles during cramps and pregnancy. To make cinnamon tea, put cinnamon in water and allow it boil in a pot for about 20 minutes. You can add honey, milk or other sweeteners. Cinnamon can also be consumed in other foods, sprinkled on to the food.
