When you get infected or when you injure yourself, it is possible to experience inflammation; this is the body’s way of responding to the infection or injury. Inflammation is a common occurrence, but when it becomes chronic, it becomes harmful. Chronic inflammation can lead to several health problems like heart problems and even some cancers. While unhealthy lifestyle choices may cause chronic inflammation to become worse, there is some healthy food that may help combat this inflammation. There is very little scientific research on this, and the results are not so conclusive, but chia seeds are still very healthy foods, and it may help in reducing chronic inflammation.
