Papayas
Native to Central America, papayas are a nutrient-dense fruit characterized by their special flavor and delicious taste. They are especially filled with folic acid. A cup of raw papaya has around 50 mcg of the nutrient, equivalent to around 10 percent of the recommended daily intake. In addition, the fruit is rich in carotenoids, vitamin C, and potassium. Avoid consuming unripe papayas if you are pregnant because it would lead to early contractions. [7]
