What is Pseudogout?

Symptoms of Pseudogout

In most cases, pseudogout occurs in the knees. However, other body parts like the elbows, wrists, and ankles can also be affected. Common symptoms include chronic inflammation, joint swelling due to fluid buildup, warmth, discomfort, and joint pain. In some mild cases, there would be no symptom at all. These problems tend to become worse during a pseudogout attack. They make it more difficult to perform daily tasks and eventually reduce the quality of life.[4]
