How to Identify Shingles Under the Breast

What Does Shingles Under the Breast Look Like?

A rash caused by shingles may show up under the breast as a broad and long strip around the torso area. In the early phases, it may look like a burn with a bright red color, particularly on pale skin. In people with highly pigmented or dark skin, the rash may appear darker than the surrounding skin. When fully developed, a shingles rash will:

– Be painful

– Have fluid-filled sacs

– Have a red color

– Have tingling or itchiness

As the sacs begin to dry and scab, this rash would turn grey or brown. In most case, the rash only affects one side of your body because the virus is only active in particularly nerves. [3]
