Bladder Issues
Bladder dysfunction happens in at least 80% of multiple sclerosis patients because the lesions delay or block the transmission of nerve signals in their nervous system [8]. Some common symptoms include:
– Urgency or frequency of urination
– Regular nighttime urination
– Hesitancy when starting urination
– Difficulty in emptying the bladder completely
– Inability to keep in urine
In many cases, these conditions might prevent you from interacting fully with family, friends, and community. However, it is possible to treat and manage bladder issues if you choose the right treatment.
