Chordoma
Chordomas are rare tumors that begin in the bone located at the lower part of your spine or base of your skull. Though they do not present in your central nervous system, these tumors would injure nearby spinal cord or brain areas by pressing on them. In most cases, the possible treatment option is surgery, usually accompanied by radiation therapy. However, the risk of recurrence is quite high with further complications.
