Craniopharyngioma
A craniopharyngioma is a form of grade 1 brain tumor that typically begins in the pituitary gland. It often grows very slowly and might press on the hypothalamus or pituitary gland, thus triggering many hormonal issues. Since this tumor can be located very close to your optic nerves, it would also lead to some problems with your vision. The tendency to stay near those significant parts makes it difficult to eliminate a craniopharyngioma completely without causing any issues with your hormone balance or vision.
