10 Symptoms of Pneumonia

Fever

Fever is another primary symptom of Pneumonia. It is also known as pyrexia where the normal body temperatures rise above the normal range thus causing restlessness. Although the average temperature of a human body falls somewhere between 37.5 and 38.3 , an increase in that means that your body is experiencing something unusual. Such an increase comes accompanied by muscle contractions thus causing your body to experience cold and uncontrolled temperature changes which force more heat production in efforts to conserve heat. When the temperature is normal, the individual feels hot, flushed and sweaty which can result in the febrile seizure in children thus indicating a symptom of Pneumonia. [2]
