Pale Stool
The liver releases the salts that give the stool its dark color. You will notice that damaged liver won’t release these salts thus making the stool appear pale. It is a clear indication that the liver is damaged or can’t release the salts required for the function. Black stools can occur in a critical and advanced stage of the liver disease which is usually as a result of blood that passes through the gastrointestinal tract where up to this stage, significant medical attention is necessary to save the life of such a patient.
