Shoulderstand – What You Need to Know

1What Is a Shoulderstand?

Shoulderstand is an inverted yoga pose that helps improve the strength of the core muscles and the spine. Also, it may stretch the back of your neck. With many health benefits on both the mind and body, this pose is often called the mother or queen of all yoga postures. This is an advanced pose that requires a lot of patience and time to master. Many variations without hand support are available. Nevertheless, most classes only teach the supported version, which is simply referred to as “shoulderstand”. [1]
