Foods for Migraine – Prevention, Triggers, and Relief

Signs and Symptoms of a Migraine Attack

Unlike normal headaches, a migraine attack typically lasts longer and causes more pain. It may lead to other physical signs, such as vision issues, vomiting, nausea, numbness and tingling in feet and hands, as well as extreme sensitivity to sounds, smells, and lights. Migraine may cause pain on either one or both sides of the head. You would also have migraine aura, a common warning sign. An aura is characterized by sparks or flashes of light, trouble choosing the right words or speaking clearly, as well as tingling sensations in the body. [2]
