Open Enrollment Period
The open enrollment periods are another chance to change your Medicare Advantage plan. For Medicare Advantage, it opens between January 1 and March 31 each year. It is also known as the general enrollment period for Medicare. Any decisions you make during this period will begin to take effect on the first day of the coming month. It is also possible to switch your Medicare Advantage plan during the annual election period, which lasts between October 15 and December 7 each year.
