Broccoli
Another food high in iron is broccoli; a serving can give six percent of the required daily intake. Although it is not the best source of iron, it is also has a lot of vitamin c which aids iron absorption. Furthermore, a lot of fiber and vitamin k are also present. Broccoli is part of the cruciferous group, and it contains sulforaphane, indole, and glucosinolates which may help prevent some types of cancer. [10, 11]
