Seeking Help
If you feel you might have the syndrome, it’s never too late to seek help. Living with the effects of narcissistic abuse syndrome can affect your life in more adverse ways than you can imagine. It may lead to depression and emotional distress. People might advise you to ignore it and move on. But the feeling might linger and produce a more devastating result. So, what should you do? If you suspect you have this condition and are trying to find a balance, therapy is recommended for you.
Therapy has proven consistently helpful to many people who had narcissistic abuse syndrome, helping them achieve a good sense of self, build back healthy boundaries, and lead happy lives. A therapist would make you understand why it was an abuse, why every wrong wasn’t your fault. He/she would help bolster your self-concept, and lead you through the phases of complete recovery.
