Focal Seizures

Focal seizures are another form of seizures. They occur when the atypical electrical activity starts on one area of the brain. Subtypes of focal seizures that may affect adults with no history include:

– Focal impaired awareness seizures: It may lead to a loss of consciousness.

– Focal aware seizures: During an attack, you do not experience a complete loss of consciousness.
