Eye Injury
Another possible cause of glaucoma is an eye injury. For instance, when your eyes are hit by a power tool during an accident, it would cause damage to the optic nerve. If left untreated, it would cause inflammation and irritation. You can prevent these cases by wearing safety goggles when working with power tools. Also, keep heat staying away from your eyes as well. Flying debris and home fireworks would cause serious damage to your sensitive eyes.[5]
