Exercise Tips for Migraines and Headaches

Regular exercise can help boost the well-being and overall health. Many studies also show that it is an effective way to lower the frequency and intensity of headaches and migraines. In this article, we will show you some simple tips to work out effectively and prevent these health issues before and during physical activities.

Boost Stamina Gradually

If you are a beginner with aerobic exercise, walking is the easiest and safest option to go for. Try to do it regularly until you become more comfortable. At that time, you may gradually change to high-intensity exercises to improve the strength of the ligaments, joints, bones, and muscles. These include stairs running, box jumps, hopping, or jack jumping. Do not start with high-impact activities until the body gets used to them. Try to do from 150 to 300 minutes of aerobic exercise with moderate intensity every time and 2 or more days of strength training on a weekly basis. [1]
