Wilson’s Disease
Wilson’s disease is basically a genetic condition triggered by a mutation. It is a rare issue that occurs when there is too much copper accumulated in your brain and liver. This leads to damages and inflammation in this organ, thus causing elevated liver enzymes. In most cases, it is not simple to diagnose Wilson’s disease because the symptoms are quite common for other diseases, such as leg swelling, itchiness, jaundice, and legs. Those signs often start first in adolescence and gradually progress.
