Movement Issues
Most babies can reach for their toys by the time they reach 7 months old. They can get an object nearby with ease. Movements can be a way to attract attention from parents as well. However, babies with autism might be less active. Also, your child should turn his or her head to the sounds when they hear by 6 months old. Otherwise, it would indicate a hearing issue, an early sign of autism. A serious symptom to notice is the ability to crawl or walk. If your baby cannot do this after 12 months, it can be a red flag.
