Absence Seizure – Symptoms & Causes

Daydreaming

Another sign of an absence seizure is daydreaming. This means people with this condition tend to stare into blank space and do not respond to anything. They would stop doing anything suddenly, even in the middle of an activity or a sentence during a conversation. To know if your friends or family members are having an absence seizure, you can gently touch them on the arm. If they do not turn to you or give attention, then it might be an obvious sign of a seizure. [3]
