Technologically-assisted Therapies
Technology-assisted therapies have provided some breakthroughs that have helped some stroke patients in their recovery; these technological designs range from smartphone apps (mostly language and speech) to therapeutic gadgets to assist physically. Technical assisted physical activities include functional electrical stimulation (where electric is applied to weak muscles to contract them), robotic technology (robotic devices that support impaired limps), wireless technology (an activity motor that helps increase post-stroke activity) and virtual reality (video games and computer-based therapies that help interact with a simulated real-time environment).
