10 Symptoms of Scleroderma

Joint Pain

Another possible sign of scleroderma is joint or muscle pain. This problem tends to occur in muscles and along the tendons of the legs and arms. Moving other parts like elbows, knees, wrists, and ankles can worsen the symptom. When the condition progresses, muscle weakness and loss might happen along with tenderness, warmth, as well as swelling around the affected muscles and joints. People with scleroderma often feel a grating sound when they move their inflamed joints, especially joints below and at the knees.[6]
