Fever
It is also possible to have a fever as a result of bursitis. The fever can be over 102 degrees Fahrenheit and occurs as a result of infection. This is why it is advised that when your bursitis reaches this stage or is accompanied by a fever, you should immediately report to your doctor for immediate treatment because if care is not taken, the fever might develop into more complications.
