Hydrogen Peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide is commonly used for mouth sores because it helps to clean the sores and it helps to eliminate some of the bacteria in the mouth. Prepare hydrogen peroxide solution by adding a little hydrogen peroxide to an equal quantity of water; you should be careful not to add too much hydrogen peroxide. Use cotton wool or a cotton bud to apply the mixture directly to the canker sore; you might experience some pain by doing this, but the pain shouldn’t last too long. Another way to apply hydrogen peroxide for canker sores is to prepare a solution by adding a little hydrogen peroxide to half a cup of water and then use the solution as a mouth rinse.[5]
