Swiss Chard
Swiss chard or silverbeet is a leafy green veggie. Its thick stalks could range from white to orange and red in color. This type of food is highly nutritious as 1 cup or 180g of cooked chard would provide up to 960mg of potassium. The same serving also contains 716 per cent of the RDI for K vitamin and 215 per cent of the RDI for A vitamin. It is also high in fiber and low in calories. Sometimes, swiss chard is overlooked compared to other leafy greens, but it is actually a delicious and tasty base for your salads and could be easily sautéed or steamed with oils. [12]
