Oils
Oils and fats are very common ingredients in many diets. They are chemically altered and processed with the addition of different substances that would trigger inflammatory activities in the body. Therefore, consuming oils too often would worsen the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. Veggie oils, canola oils, and some other types are produced during the hydrogenation process. This leads to a high amount of trans fats and saturated fats, which can be harmful if you are suffering from pain and inflammation caused by rheumatoid arthritis. [8]
