Signs and Symptoms of PCOS
The exact signs of PCOS may vary from person to person. These include oily skin, acne, hair loss or thinning hair, skin tags on the armpits and neck, infertility, weight gain (particularly around the stomach), dark skin patches under the breast or on the neck, larger cystic ovaries or ovaries, light periods, irregular periods, missed periods, as well as excess body hair on the back, belly, and chest. Some people start noticing symptoms of PCOS during the first period. However, others may not know about this condition once they have had difficulty getting pregnant or gained lots of weight.
