Symptoms of Stasis Dermatitis
Stasis dermatitis occurs when there is a leakage of fluids into the skin from weakened veins. Typical symptoms include:
– The legs might feel heavy or ache
– The lower part of the legs might swell, particularly when you walk a lot
– Varicose veins can happen. These are thick damaged veins in the legs
– Itchy and dry skin on the varicose veins
– Open sores might appear on the tops of the feet or lower legs [6]
