Head Injuries or Head Trauma
Head injuries or head trauma can also cause vertigo. Head injuries that result from a motor vehicle or bike accidents, falls, assaults, etc. all lead to a Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BVVP). BBVP is a vestibular pathologic condition that is the common cause of vertigo. This condition occurs in people with head trauma. In the course of hitting your head during a fall or an accident, your inner ear might get affected. Upon changing the position of your head after this incidence, you are likely to suffer that reeling and spinning sensation of vertigo. [5]
