Vertigo: Causes, Symptoms, Treatments & Diet

Ménière’s Disease

It seems when there is a problem with the ears, the eyes and brain suffer from it. Ménière is another disease of the ear that can lead to vertigo. It has to do with a buildup of fluid in your inner ear, which results in tinnitus (ringing in the ear), a feeling of pressure or fullness in the ear, hearing loss, and of course dizzy spells (vertigo). This disease only affects one ear but as time goes on, your second ear might also become affected, if you do not commence treatment soon enough. This disease tends to affect people between the ages of 40 and 60. [4]
