Labyrinthitis
All the organs in the body are connected in mysterious ways. These connections are made in such a way that when an organ develops a fault, all or some of the other organs automatically suffer from this malfunction. This case is that of a medical condition called labyrinthitis, which is the inflammation of the nerve that connects the inner ear (labyrinth) to the brain. This nerve is the one responsible for encoding the body’s head motion, position and sound. When the inner ear is then inflamed by a viral infection, it causes vertigo. [3]
