Deformity
In some cases, the outer part of the collarbone might look out of place. You can check around the shoulder for any signs of deformity. Also, there might be a small bump forming on the top of the shoulder where the clavicle bone stops. This is one of the most obvious symptoms of a separated shoulder. It is mostly associated with a grade three injury. This means your injury is very serious and requires immediate medical attention to prevent further complications.[5]
