Reduced Shoulder Mobility
The range of motion or mobility of the shoulder can be limited after a separation occurs. Check by trying to rotate the affected side in all different directions. If you are unable to move this part in the same manner as you could move the other part, then it might be a clear symptom of a separated shoulder or another shoulder injury. You can move the shoulder in the following ways: pull out the shoulder to your side, pull the shoulder across the body, pull down the shoulder, or lift up the shoulder.[4]
