Diarrhea
Diarrhea is a common symptom in people with salmonella infection. It tends to occur suddenly during the first few days. You would notice loose and soft bowel movements. In more severe cases, there can also be mucus and blood in the stools. These problems require immediate medical attention as they can be very dangerous. Keep in mind that diarrhea will not go away on its own. Instead, you might need treatments with antibiotics or anti-parasitic drugs to eliminate the bacteria. [4]
