Stages of Inflammatory Breast Cancer

Breast cancer develops in different stages, which indicates how far cancerous cells have progressed. In most cases, inflammatory breast cancer is diagnosed at either stage 3 or 4:

– Stage 3: Cancerous cells have spread to some tissues in areas around the breast, such as the chest wall, breast skin, or lymph nodes

– Stage 4: Cancerous cells have spread to further parts of the body, such as the bones, liver, or lungs [6]
