Blank Stare
When many people think about a seizure, they tend to imagine a convulsing person. Nevertheless, a grand mal seizure would look a bit different. A common manifestation of this type can be a blank stare. It would last anywhere from a couple of seconds to a couple of minutes. The person might seem to look directly through you. He or she could or could not blink. It can also be followed by a loss of awareness, but this is not always the case. The symptom is more common in kids. Fortunately, it does not lead to any long-term issues. [2]
