A balanced diet with sufficient nutrients can be helpful in dealing with gestational diabetes. Try to base your daily meals around lean protein and add a lot of fresh foods. Limit the consumption of processed foods and carbs to avoid worsening the issue. Make sure around 40% to 50% of your daily calories come from carbs, around 20% to 25% of calories from protein, less than 35% of calories from fat.
