What Is PCOS?
Polycystic ovary syndrome or PCOS is a medical condition that causes hormone issues in females during the childbearing period, between 15 and 44 years old. Many people develop this disorder but do not notice that. In fact, up to 70 percent of women went misdiagnosed with PCOS. This condition affects the ovulation and ovaries, which release progesterone and estrogen. Both hormones play a key role in the regulation of the menstrual cycle. [1]
