Intravenous Fluid Therapies
Due to the effects of dengue fever, your body might lack water and lead to dehydration. In these cases, intravenous (IV) fluid drip or supplementation is necessary to recover when you cannot consume fluids by your mouth. In this procedure, fluids will be directly inserted into your bloodstream so that they would counteract the dehydrated effects quickly on your body. This method can be used at the same time with oral rehydration therapies to bring your levels of hydration back to a manageable state.
