Athlete’s Foot

Athlete’s foot or tinea pedis is a fungal infection characterized by a red rash on your feet’s soles or between the toes. There might be discomfort, ranging from painful blisters to mild flaking and itchiness. There are three main types of athlete’s foot, including chronic interdigital between your toes, acute vesicular causing blisters, and chronic scaly on your soles. This condition can easily spread in unhygienic, moist areas, such as locker rooms or spas. Fortunately, you can treat it simply with topical antifungals. Keep in mind that other issues such as pityriasis and plaque psoriasis might cause similar signs. [3]
