Feeling of Sickness
Not everyone gets the warning sign, but some people will experience some flu-like symptoms like fever and a runny nose before their pink eye becomes fully blown. When a person experiences flu-like symptoms caused by conjunctivitis, it is most likely that such a person has a viral pink eye. This form of the pink eye usually occurs when the season changes, and it is very contagious. After a couple of days, this feeling of sickness should go away, but not until after it has given way to other symptoms of pink eye.
