Catheterization
It is possible to experience an inability to pass urine as a result of injury or surgery when this happens; a urinary catheter is used to help drain urine from the bladder. This catheter may allow urine to enter into the urethra and cause a form of urinary tract infection. The symptoms of a urinary tract infection caused by a catheter are similar to those of general urinary tract infection. Most of the urinary tract infections gotten in hospitals are a result of the use of catheters. [9]
