Pelvic pain
We have different bodies and our body systems react and function differently. This is why some people experience more severe symptoms compared to others even though they are all battling with the same disease. Fibroid symptoms vary in women. In some women, the signs are mild and manageable while some women experience chronic symptoms such as pelvic pain. Asides the massive and prolonged menstrual bleeding, the fibroid can cause dull, chronic pelvic pressure and pain. This pain is as a result of the fibroid tumors pressing the pelvic organs. This puts pressure on the pelvis and results in severe pain. This symptom is also accompanied by a feeling of fullness in the pelvic area. [5]
